The origin of Pressed Sushi comes from the Kansei region of Osaka, where traditionally this type of sushi-making involved using a wooden box to pack fish and rice tightly together. Aburi, also known as "Torched" or "Flame Seared" is the sushi genre where the top of the fish is partially charred with a blowtorch. Torch Pressed Sushi is combining these techniques together to adapt to the modern palate. We specialize in Torch Pressed Sushi, Handrolls, Rice Bowls, and Bento Boxes which are made with premium ingredients, original recipes, and house-made sauces.
